I'm mad about toys.
Those who visited my home or my last work place, know it was packed with different weird, sweet, ugly, cute toys.
I use to collect the toys from McDonald (the kids meals gift) which are sometimes awesome, I have many others that I had found on trips around the world (take a look at these little monsters for example, I got them as a present on my first time at New Orleans and I treasure them with love and care for 6 years now!).
Little M. got a funny mix of toys - the regular babies/kids stuff and her mom's collection of weird toys...
I was so please to find a whole section of Designer Toys at one of my favorite sites for contemporary art - Magic Pony.
Magic Pony is a publisher, studio and retail space which showcases work that blurs the boundaries between art, design, visual culture and creative retail.
I check their gallery and new arrivals sections from time to time and it is always full of creative, surprising, uplifting and inspiring art works.
