Friday Finds:: Alice in Wonderland

So... Have you seen Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland already?
If not - Run, Run, Run!!
100% of pure delight as you can expect from my favorite trio!

Well, I must prepare you though. If you await to see a 3-D version of the stories you well know by Lewis Carroll, you might find the plot a bit strange. The film is an extension of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and starts when Alice is 19 years old and accidentally returns to Underland.

Saying that, the movie itself is a stunning work of art as from the characters, through the amazing live action technique and animation and to some such a delicious memorable quotes. Here are some:
"Off with their heads!" or even better "How would you like to have your head hacked off?" (the Red Queen),
"I'm investigating things that begin with the letter M." (The Mad Hatter),
or my favorite -  "Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast" (Alice's father and then said by her to the Mad Hatter).

Now, enough said. Lets have a look at Alice wonders in Etsy.

  1. I've watched Alice and couldn't figure out what is this movie based on!! I went home puzzled to check my old books for an answer...
    Didn't know Tim Burton made it as a kind of squeal to the original stories. Interesting!
    Now I have to watch it again to enjoy it better...

  4. Thanks so much for including my necklace! I just saw the movie in imax recently, and I loved it too. I have always been a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan, and it was cool to see a different take on the story. If you haven't seen the mini series Alice by Syfy Channel (www.syfy.com/alice) you need to see that too!

    I love your blog btw! :)
