I am attracted to the art of print and especially textile design for some time now.
I remember I started following Lena Corwin's work, I think it was about four or five years ago now, and was amazed at her work and at her approach to patterns and surface design.
It might be the first time I paid attention to this medium.
And then it struck me - how broad it is and how textile design touches us on our everyday life.

Couple of years later and I believe it is time for me to try it myself and have a little play with patterns and fabrics!
I'm about to start a Screen Printing course next month and am so, so excited!!
Until then I spend my time with some great print and craft books such as the above and a pack of other inspirational finds.
