Living on a Houseboat

How perfect could living on a houseboat be?
I've always dreamed about living on a houseboat for a while. Me and The Man share a little fantasy of doing a trip on the Thames by the book Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. I know we will do it one day so I'm pretty relaxed about it but when I saw this photo story I was completely taken...


This bright, colorful space is the home of Josie Curran and her boyfriend, Barney. The houseboat is moored off an island on the river Thames, only 25 minutes by train to Waterloo.
Josie, who just recently published her first book, Organised Fun and is now expecting her first child, says: "It's like being on holiday every day. We have an early-morning swim, and we eat the eggs that the ducks lay in our tomato patch."

Other than adoring Josie and Barney's relaxed, slow way of life, I just love their beautiful little crib with finds from antique markets, a trip to India and a fine selection of items that all together make their house so picturesque.
