The Society inc

I've found The Society inc through Mady Dooijes of abundance and immediately fell in love.

The Society inc. is a charming store in Paddington, Sydney, specializing in textiles, furniture, homewares and beautiful things.
Sibella Court, The Society inc. owner, changes the store contents and interior 4 times a year, each time to a new 'theme'. For each theme, Sibella presents inspirational objects, surfaces and spaces and also a paint palette designed by her for Murobond Paints.
Each theme pulls you into a different historical or imaginary place where gypsies and pirates, mermaids and sea nymphs live under foggy and starry nights.

Here are some of my favorite inspirational objects and spaces from the Paper Whites and Foundation themes.

I love the eclectic mix of old and new pieces, objects found in nature and modern furnishing.
Sibella's styling is so detailed and accurate and the spaces she creates have life of their own. I would move to live in this store...

  2. Thanks for your comment! It always makes me happy too!

I was scrolling through your blog and also loved so many items you post about! And can understand you have a 'Slow Land in Fast Motion' you don't post everything you see to keep that certain feel to your blog!
