A Day With Kate

Kate's photo-blog has a lovely mix of bits and pieces from her everyday (I especially love the sneak peeks into her meals and the cute cafes she visits) as well as random finds from the world-wide-web.
I recently discovered her blog through Danica that pointed out to the interesting topic Kate was raising about taking photos in public spaces and it immediately became a new fave of mine.
Kate also has a shop of her super pretty hand-painted cards.
The Dress I Made

On the day Renske stood in front of her closet and didn't know what to wear for the umptieth time, she decided it was time for a change. From that moment she only wore clothes she designes and made herself.
Her blog documents her creations and the process behind the scenes. The wonderful photographs by Eelke Dekker make her dresses look even more beautiful and interesting.
Les Composantes

Les Composantes is first of all - French. A fact which immediately gives it a special charm and an intriguing attitude (at least for me!). It is also a design house for limited edition bags, purses, and unique selection of vintage and contemporary pieces, which are all Très chic!
I don't know much more as the people behind it - their About page is still a mystery for me as I couldn't translate it using Google Translate. But even without understanding a word, it is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy those magnifique photos and fashion!
Daily Fiction

Daily Fiction is my most recent blog-find. I was introduced to it via Les Composantes and when I understood the concept of it I sigh and immediately fell in love.
The idea here it is brilliant - a daily photo and a little fictional story that goes with it.
The excellent dou behind Daily Fiction are photographer Matthew Raffard and writer Alberic of Hardivilliers. They both share the love for travel (ocean crossings as they say) and collaborate in different artworks as the Valiants. Daily Fiction is their latest project.
Kristina Klarin's blog

Last but not least is Kristina Klarin's blog. Most of you must be familiar with her signature chunky wooden colourful necklaces. As creative, colourful, and happy her necklaces are, so is her blog. Her posts always put a smile on my face. Most of all I love the colour palettes she creates for some of her posts (as in here) - both unique in its presentation and so inspiring. Kristina also has a separate little blog-space for her colour files here.
Hope you find new sources of inspiration within those virtual spaces!
Let me know if you enjoy the introduction and we can maybe have a second round soon! x
P.S. The Reading List has lots and lots of other interesting and inspiring blogs, in case you're hungry for more!
