A new order from my etsy store!
Well, I'm still at the phase when every sale gets me head over heels and so overjoyed (not sure it is going to end. I guess I'll be super excited even after 1,000 sales).
But there was something about it that made me feel a bit blue
The mini super cute elephant!!!
Someone just bought my most precious item!!
Call me sentimental, well, I can't help it,
I just love some of my items too much.

After a good night's sleep I was all ready (emotionally (-:) to ship it.
We try to use only recycled or reused materials for wrapping and shipping.
But still - it must be pretty. Or at least - I'll do the best I can to make it so.

Our main concern is the safety of the item.
Shipping from Australia means our items are about to travel a long way until they find their new destination.
When dealing with vintage you have 2 things to bear in mind - 1) You most likely won't find another identical item, 2) vintage and house-ware =equals= breakable and fragile items.
That makes wrapping your number one art.

That's it.
All wrapped up and ready to ship.
The lovely paper wrap you see is just sheets I teared out of from the local newspaper.
They have lovely design and look so pretty!
It is now on its way to its new home.
I feel much better now. I have to become less attached to my items. I think I'm on the right way though!

Goodbye little elephant! Hope you'll be very much loved in your new home!!
Oh my goodness! I SO wish I had seen that first. Elephants are my all-time favorite animal and that one is one of the cutest I have ever seen in my life.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure its going to a good home :D
