I'm so excited to have a tree!!.... it is all ours, standing in the middle of our front yard, and it is so beautiful.
I took almost a hundred photos of it already and we're here for less than 3 months....
It is now changing everyday.
It was blossoming so gracefully with pale pink flowers but only for a week.
Now it is all covered with red leaves and the grass underneath it is dotted with petals that color it like snow flakes.

By the way, I wish I could record smells to post with the pictures.
It was beautiful day today, sunny with white clouds and the light was magically.
Last hour it began to rain and on the same time the gardener came over to cut the lawn. Pruned grass and rain. This smell is one of my favorites in the whole world. Did I said magic already?

I'm not sure which tree it is.
ReplyDeleteI thought it is almond tree but it isn't.
An agronomist friend of us now says it might be a kind of Chinese plum tree...
We'll wait to see its fruits later on spring.
