Something to do with childhood fantasies perhaps or the desire to live in harmony with nature.
In my dreams, I have 3 different houses in 3 different continents - one tree house in the woods in Canada, a beach house in South Australia and a little houseboat for touring Europe...
Oh, dreaming is nice isn't it?

Now, back to real life...
The Wilkinson Residence is a beautiful project, located in a forest in Portland, Oregon.
It is an inspiring example of taking dreams and making them a reality.
The Wilkinson House was designed by architect Robert Harvey Oshatz to suit the exact needs and passions of its occupant, a lover of music - a house that will became a part of the natural landscape and also addressed the flow of music.

Oshatz says about his project: "There must be surprise, mystery, beauty and delight; elements that make architecture rewarding to its users for a lifetime."
What makes it so special is that it is beyond fashion and trends and you can really feel how it suits its owner's needs in a perfect way. I find it beautiful.
