Routine

Hello my dears,
Friday morning it is, and a very early one.
The Man stayed at home the last 10 days suffering a very bad flu, something both him and I never had before.
While I can't say it was a very pleasant time; it's no fun seeing your man so sick and feeling so low day after day, it was something new. Having him at home with us, waking up late together, share long chats (maybe too long...), plays and dinners. It was really refreshing.
And now, after so long, that's over!
He's back on his feet, feeling much better although still weak.  Suddenly this morning, the alarm clock had its say much too early, and we were up for our old routine.
Morning coffee, quick hurried chat about our daily agenda, sandwiches and lunch preparations and - off he went. And here we are, little M. and I, staring at each other, wondering, what should we do now?...
I have to go back and find my routine.
How come only one week or so without it makes it so hard to go back?

P.S. Some of you probably have noticed already but if you read this on your RSS reader or email you may not be aware {that's the time to click on the post title and head over here!} - Slow Lane has got a new face! It was a hard work and it is not completely done so there might be little tweaks needed here and there and old posts that look odd in the new layout, but I hope to finish it all this weekend. Opinions and feedback are very very welcome!!

  2. It is pretty difficult to break routine. Although I have to admit when my guy is sick I'm usually dying for him to get better so he can stop acting like a baby! lol. I love him to death but he whines so much when he's ill.

I'm glad your man is feeling better though. I'm sure you'll be back to regular schedule in no time. :D

I love your new blog look by the way! It's fresh and clean == very organized and readers love that! :D

  5. Like the new style! yes, we have to cherish those very special moments together dont we. Unfortunately the bills have to be paid - maybe we can start a self contained community complex?
