I have a dream to move and live in Italy for a while.
Now I even found my dream place...
This space of serenity and beauty is the home of Italian fashion and jewelry designer Maria Calderara in Monteacuto.
You can sense that the 16th century house was renovated with love and care and the result is a quiet celebration of tranquility and subtle style.
I love the simple but so well designed and chosen furniture, the heaps of books in the corridor that are just stand next to the wall, waiting to be read, and the harmony between the white walls, the red and orange decorations and the natural woods of the doors and ceiling.
Even just looking at the photos make one slow down and relax...
Hope you had a warm, restful weekend loves!

ReplyDeleteIt's so serene... beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your blogger template by the way. Did you design it yourself? I've changed my template many times but always revert to something really simple. I do like yours though :) It's attractive but not too busy.
Wow... absolutely lovely! I'd love to live in Italy too :)
ReplyDeleteOMG......I want this house...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to Italy, Toscana this august:)
When can I move in??? LOVE it! Love all of the pillows stacked up in a few of the pictures. I just want to grab one and lay on the floor with a good book and cup of tea!
