I am in love. I am in love with Switzerland - it's mountains, its cities, its lakes, its languages, its history - but especially its lakes. Whether I'm swimming in them during the summer or viewing them from the window of a train speeding through the Swiss countryside, I can't keep from falling in love with them over and over again. When Galit gave me the option of posting as a guest here I wanted to think of something inspiring and beautiful to pass on to you, (namely, something that would fit in with her incredible blog!) and these recent photos that I took in Zurich and in Buochs (my village) came to mind (we have been surrounded by a lovely moody fog lately). The lakes here never fail to inspire me (really, there is no other word) and in keeping with the theme of travel - I hope that someday, if you haven't already, you get a chance to see them for yourself!

Lovely images, they have a dreamlike quality. I have friends here in Arizona who travel abroad several times a year and they tell me Switzerland is one of their favorite places to visit. When do you think is the best time of year?

Those mountains are calling my name! if not for that than for whenever people ask me where I'm from and I tell them Sweden, they always replay: Yes, Switzerland seems very nice or just: Switzerland? that could be a sign! ;D
