Holidays (and more) by Judy Kaufman

Not too long ago, I've received an email from Judy Kaufman with a link to her Etsy shop. I was so happy to discover her imaginative, smart art. It is hard to explain why you find a specific artist more interesting than the other but I could just say that many of her works made me think and smile as it looks like there's a hidden story behind them.

I've rechecked her shop today and immediately felt in love with one of her latest works - Holidays (here the one on the bottom right).
No wonder, well, I'm still in a holiday mood, you know, and this piece with its strong shapes and colors is simply fantastic. But also, it somehow reminds me of a quote that I love from Alice in Wonderland:

I think Judy's 'Holidays' would look just perfect with this quote framed and hanged under it.
