Translucence

Billy Bride jewelry

I've spotted Billy Bride's rings on a local magazine some time ago but unfortunately lost it and since then I was unsuccesfully looking all over the interent, trying to find some information about these amazing creations.
Luckily enough, last week, 2 of my favorite blogs, had featured those rings again and so I have the chance to share it with you!

Renee Warne is the designer behind the label Billy Bride. Each of her rings is individually handcrafted assuring no two stones are alike. Renee creates her rings using indigene Australian materials and keeping
her crystals the same as they are naturally occur, retaining their raw appearance.

Her rings reminded me a photo I took a couple of months ago at the South Australia Museum. In the photo, the little miss is awe-inspired by a huge display of crystals from all around the globe (you can view it here).
There is something so beautiful and unique with working with crystals, especially when keeping them as unrefined, that is invigorating.

Bring back the sparkle.
