Beautiful artworks by Debbie Powell for London based record label Metroline Limited, designed especially for vinyl.
Remember the days of beautifully designed vinyl covers?
I was working in a music store when I was 16. It was when CDs were just introduced. We laughed at this hilarious idea and didn't believe for even one second that it will actually sweep the industry, and as fast as it eventually did.
I miss vinyl records.

ReplyDeleteHa. Sounds like the first time I heard of this new internet thing. I thought it sounded so lame. "Like, who's EVER gonna use that?"

Oh vinyl is making a comeback... the record label I just did two album covers for asked for me to design both LP's as well as CD's. I need to buy a record player so I can play them (because I just have a victrola, and nothing newer than 1935 recordings can be played on it!)
