Flora Douville's Watercolors

Hello bloggy friends! Hope you all had a nice warm weekend!!
We had a real good one; slow, tasty, analog and very relaxing. I took the plunge on film photography this weekend and used only my old film camera. I really enjoyed it but now I can't wait to finish my film and see the photos. Oh, patience, it is easy to forget you in the digital era. I will share the results with you in a couple of days weeks.

.....

I saw those watercolors by French artist Flora Douville some time ago and immediately fell in love. So beautiful and relaxing. I can stare at them for hours and every time I discover something new, Much like looking at floating clouds.
The first work here is called 'By the Sea'. When the little miss and I were first looking at it, she said it is an handbag but I was sure it is a vintage iron. The second one, 'Rain', looked like two grizzly bears snuggled together to her, and I, well, I couldn't agree more.
I really love it that they can be whatever you choose it to be, much more interesting then a straight on art.

Check out the whole watercolors collection on Flora's shop. She also got beautiful photographs as well as a seriously lovely blog.
