Akio Hirata Hats Exhibition By Nendo
Stunning exhibition by one of Japan’s most famous and internationally-known milliners, Akio Hirata, showcasing more than seventy years of work at the Spiral Garden in Tokyo. The exhibition features more than 4000 white ‘ghost hats’ floating around and acting as shells of the ‘real’ hats on display. This beautiful and dreamy installation looks to me like a science fiction scene where a hat shaped creature attack the world. In a very polite, hat-like way of-course (more details)
