Un-Sparkle

A wondrous diamond antithesis made out of the most un-sparkly materials (bas-relief in salvaged wood), by Dutch artist Ron van der Ende.
I'm also admiring the idea of pasting an image of a South African diamond mine worker to the back of the diamond (see here)
Simply amazing.

How was your weekend dear bloggy friends? Did you have your fair share of happy time in the snow?
It was so wintry here, it almost felt like the right weather for Christmas...

These splendid artworks from Dutch artist Sebastiaan Bremer are so perfect for this time of year!
His snow looks so festive, sparkling, and joyful, I'm almost sure they were meant to be looking at during the holiday season!
