Slower is Better

I couldn't ignore this post on Fubiz with the great title especially here in Australia where the traffic accidents rate is so high.

This is an excellent installation by the department of police force of Elm Grove to fight accidents. A meter placed on the roadside posts information in real-time around the slogan “Slower is Better”. By the agency Cramer-Krasselt, Milwaukee.

    That's an interesting idea.
    I think something like that was tried once here, in Israel.

    The argument here is if those signs wouldn't cause accidents themselves (by distraction)?
