You can't stay indifferent to London based Ciara Phelan collages.
It catches the eye and don't let go! I love the richness and never-ending details of them. Hey! There's a panda in there! and a giant tiger! and fish in the sky! that are raining green/red/blue/black wondrous rain!
Each one kept me looking forever and I kept smiling all of the time.

Ciara makes each collage by hand from vintage imagery found in magazine and books. I especially loving her fabulous series of 12" black record sleeves with a collaged triangle corner slip.
Also, if you like to try and 'play' with collages, check out Ciara's tutorial:  Achieve vintage-look collage techniques with Photoshop.

What a jolly good way to start my week!!

  5. Very Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, which bombed but I enjoyed it in a stretched-out-on-the-sofa way. Perfect for Netflix...
