Nonsensical Infographic is an awesome series of artworks by Chad Hagen presented now at the 20X200 project webshop.
Chad said on his works:
"The science of infographics is an interesting beast. Infographics' level of success is always based on how much and how well they communicate their data—the classic form follows function. In this series, I reversed these roles—form is king and dictates what the infographic communicates. Welcome to the world of fictional visual information."
On my previous job I used to make so many charts for presentations and reports, I really loved making them but let me tell you, they were not even a bit inspiring as these ones...
Not sure what I like better, the clever idea behind it or the smart, colorful geometric result. Either way, it is a unique inspiring print and in such reasonable price it makes it wonderful gift for the art lover, charts challenged friend! Don't you find it the perfect art piece for a smart looking workspace?
I own the top and bottom images as prints! I used to follow the 20x200 releases quite closely and saw those the day they were released, gasped, and clicked purchase with a fury.
