CraftedSystems was founded by industrial designer Aurelie Tu. It is not just a place for great designs; The project is a collaboration with the YWCA Women's Shelter in Portland, that helps training women with innovative weaving techniques and providing them with an empowering employment and a creative outlet.
For making their products, they use only eco-friendly production methods and materials (100% wool felt with no fasteners), and so they are completely sustainable.

As I can't resist geometry goodness almost of any kind, I love these so much. Their super modern and sophisticated look still have the handmade, more traditional feeling to it and when knowing the story behind Aurelie's project, they become quite irresistible.
